About me
With extensive experience teaching across Northeast colleges over the past 25 years, Alyson Snowe brings a profound understanding to the English Department at CCRI, where she's been since 2018. Holding a Ph.D. from the University of Rhode Island, Dr. Snowe teaches diverse courses, including College Writing, Composition, Business Writing, and Technical Writing. Her passion lies in student-centered teaching, helping individuals from diverse backgrounds master written and verbal communication. Her research interests span first-year composition, writing pedagogy, technical writing, and the evolving impact of AI tools on writing. Alyson is dedicated to empowering students to confidently control language for academic and professional success.
