About me
Doug Hall provides support across the disciplines for academic research computing and emerging technologies. This includes pedagogy-driven consultation and workshops for high performance computing and artificial intelligence applications. He has a Ph.D. in Polymer Science and Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, with research focused on computational and theoretical study of physics. He has worked in a variety of multidisciplinary academic research settings. He joined Amherst College IT Academic Technology Services in Fall 2023 as a Research Computing Specialist.
